The inner shape of the water bowl, made of ultra-thin brushed aluminum, is chosen to create the largest possible water surface with the least amount of water. The special shape of the basin allows the surface tension of the water to be visible on the sides. There is enough depth in the center of the basin to comfortably scoop for baptism. The basin can be easily lifted from the base, so it can be easily filled with water, emptied and hygienically cleaned by one person.

The basin is versatile, can be set up anywhere in a few simple steps, and is easy to carry in a bag: for a baptismal celebration, for a communal baptismal memorial, for sinking the candle at the Easter Vigil, as a hygienic holy water basin, for sacramental catechesis with children and youth.

The basin can be used in many ways, also for other occasions. It forms a shapely centerpiece when filled with sand as a candle bowl, as a dignified place to lay prayers and intentions, or simply as a bowl at the church gate for memorial gifts.
